Treatment Method
We use a system in which we derive the platelet rich plasma from your own body. A technician will draw a vial of your blood. We will then process the specimen in our lab by using a sterile method to separate undesirable blood cells from the desirable blood cells. The platelet rich concentrate is then injected into the joint or tendon by a board-certified surgeon.
Using our own lab and high-tech equipment gives us the ability to perform the procedure the same day your blood is drawn.
